"I’m Lucy, and I am new to Sight Research UK, joining as its new CEO in December 2024. I joined the charity after completing five years as CEO of a conservation charity; prior to this, I worked for national charities in senior leadership roles. I hope to bring my 25 years of experience to the charity and build on its many successes into 2025 and beyond. Here at Sight Research UK we are a small, dynamic team with one mission; to improve the lives of those living with, or threatened by, eye disease, and it’s a privilege to work with such a dedicated group."

"I’m Lisa, the Research Grants Manager at Sight Research UK, having joined this small but formidable charity in April 2024. My background is in grant making and trusts fundraising, but in the community and disability sectors. It is amazing to be a part of a national charity supporting translational medical research in to eye disease, an area that is severely underfunded. I manage the grant rounds - for the researchers who apply and our advisory panels who give up their time to assess each application."

"I'm Aggie, and I am the Marketing and Communications Manager at Sight Research UK. I joined this small but dedicated charity in Spring 2024. Day-to-day, I maintain our website and social media channels, in addition to creating and designing content for multi-channel campaigns to showcase all the incredible research that our charity supports in this sector. All the work we do as a team underpins our overarching mission, which is to beat sight loss faster. I am so proud to work in such a fulfilling role surrounded by wonderful, passionate people."
