Christmas Appeal 2024

This Christmas, Sight Research UK is Brightening Lives through Vision Research. We continue to sustain vital sight-saving research, yet, despite progress, the need for sight research remains critical. We want to build on our research efforts - and we need your help to do so.

Your donations this festive season will go towards supporting vital future research projects. Whether it is through enhanced diagnostic tools, improved treatments, or even prevention, with your support, these projects have the potential to transform lives threatened by sight loss.

Thanks to the wonderful support of Newmedica, we have a pot of £10,000 with which we can match the kind gifts made by our community to our Christmas campaign. Newmedica care for more than 165,000 NHS and private patients a year in more than 30 locations across England, working with the NHS, as well as local GPs and opticians, to help treat and manage a range of advanced eye conditions in local communities. At the heart of their work is a strong belief in improving lives through improving eye care.

Newmedica have generously agreed to match any gifts made to Sight Research UK until 31 December 2024 up to the value of £10,000. So, any sight-saving gifts made during this period will be doubled!
