Creating a fundraising page is quick and easy, and a great way to share your story and raise money for sight-saving research. Even better, you can choose to set up an induvial fundraising pages or create a team fundraising page to fundraise together with friends, family, or colleagues.
How to set up your JustGiving page:
- Go to: justgiving.com/charity/SRUK
- Click on Start Fundraising
- Sign in using your existing JustGiving account, or create a new one. You can also sign in using your social media accounts.
- Follow the setup steps to create your page
- Personalise your page. Add a photo, share your story, and why you’re supporting Sight Research UK
- Fundraising in Memory? Let us know who your fundraising in memory for and why Sight Research UK was important to them.
- Share your page link with friends, family, and colleagues to start raising funds!
All donations made through JustGiving come directly to us, so you don’t need to collect or transfer any money yourself.
Cash or Cheque donations?
If someone gives you a donation in cash or by cheque, you can still include it in your fundraising total by adding it as an offline donation on your JustGiving page. This helps keep your overall total up to date and shows the full impact of your fundraising. Visit our donate page for details on paying in cheques
Using a different fundraising platform?
Some challenge events, such as The Big Half, will require you to use a different fundraising platform. Please contact us before setting up your page to make sure we’re registered on that platform.
