Introducing our Strategic Award funding scheme
Depending on funding available, we occasionally call for applications to our Strategic Award funding scheme. These are time limited calls which focus on specific areas of need as strategically defined in consultation with our Research Advisory Board.
The Strategic Award call is based on addressing research questions that are likely to translate into real differences for patients. The likelihood of adoption of the research by the NHS and potential to change practice is also taken into account.
We look forward to being in a position to open this funding opportunity and we will communicate with the research community when we do.
