Donate in Memory
A gift in memory is a special way to remember the life of a loved one.
Many choose to ask family and friends to make a donation in lieu of flowers at a funeral or memorial service. We understand that things are different right now, and not everyone who would like to attend the funeral of a loved one may be able to do so. When it becomes possible, you might like to plan a memorial service as an opportunity for friends and family to come together to celebrate the life of your loved one, but for now, here are a few options.
Whatever you decide, we are so grateful to you for thinking of us at such a difficult time. Your gifts make a tremendous difference to the amount of research we are able to fund. We would like to honour your support by listing the name of your loved one in our annual review. Of course, we would respect your wishes if you preferred we did not.
Make a donation
With a one-off or a regular gift you can help researchers bring forward the day when sight loss is a thing of the past.
Set up an online tribute page
This is a thoughtful way to honour the memory of your loved one. It is also a wonderful and effective way to make sure that anyone who wishes to can participate in the celebration of their life, including sharing their own memories and pictures. Some funeral directors will be able to host a memorial page on their website, or you can set up your own tribute page on JustGiving.
