Seeing is Believing: Newmedica and Sight Research UK reunite for festive fundraiser to fight sight loss

Donations made from this year’s “Seeing is Believing” campaign will go towards vital future research projects that combat sight loss. 

Following the overwhelming success of last year’s initiative, which raised an incredible £25,135 for sight-saving research, Newmedica has once again pledged to match every donation made to the campaign, pound for pound up to £10,000, until 31 December 2025.

Every six minutes, another person in the UK is told they’re going blind – that’s 250 people a day. With your support this festive season, you can ensure clearer futures for those currently left in the dark. At Sight Research UK, we are committed to delivering meaningful impact for those living with sight loss by investing in pioneering research. 

Newmedica, which provides specialist NHS and private eye care to over 165,000 patients annually across more than 30 locations in England, shares this mission.
