How can I help?

Use your expertise to spark the next breakthrough in sight-saving research.
Be a Panellist
Our Seed Panel and Research Advisory Board are independent volunteer boards of experts who review our grant applications. Membership continually rotates and we are always keen to recruit new Panellists.
You could become a Seed or RAB Panel member. Each term lasts three years. You may serve a maximum of two terms, subject to successful re-election. As a panel member, you will be asked to review and score applications and attend meetings once or twice a year.
Be a Co-opted member for one grant round
You may be asked to review and score applications that match your area of expertise. However, you are not required to commit to serving for the full three-year term. If you participate in the assessment process, you will also be asked to attend the relevant panel meeting.
Be a Peer Reviewer
We look for expert peer reviewers internationally. You may be asked to review applications at Translational Readiness Levels (TRL) 3–7 when they match your area of expertise. You will not be required to attend panel meetings or present the applications. Instead, you will be asked to submit your review and scores online.
